Hi. I’m Angie Macdonald, and I love building websites. All my websites are handcoded using standards compliant XHTML and CSS making them search engine friendly. I can help you with your entire web strategy, from website design and development, to content creation, hosting and social media optimisation.
My Background
I'm originally from South Africa, but I’ve been in London long enough to call myself a ‘Londoner’. Over the years I’ve been a teacher, a freelance writer and a lifecoach, all of which have taught me how to communicate well and ask the right questions. In 2007 I turned my writing skills to web content creation and my love affair with all things digital began.
About ZenAngie Web Design
I’ve been involved in social media and web design since 2007 and launched ZenAngie Web Design in the Autumn of 2009. Before starting ZenAngie I was a partner at ZenGuide Social Media Consultancy where I provided social media training and blog management to solo professionals and small businesses. You can read more about this on my Portfolio page. I became more and more involved in the web design side of the business and finally decided to strike out on my own as ZenAngie. And the rest, as they say, is history.

I believe in simplicity. I also believe that one of the best things you could ever do for your business is to have a good, search engine friendly and accessible website and a good online strategy to accompany it. It will add value to your business for years to come. That’s why it’s good for you.

Why the name ZenAngie?
I like the concept of Zen. For me it implies simplicity in design. Also, I was a Partner at Social Media Consultancy ZenGuide before I started my web design business. So ZenAngie seemed a logical progression.
And when I'm not in front of my computer...
I love to garden, especially growing herbs and vegetables. I’m also really into photography and music. And when I walk, I like to Powerwalk. Sometimes I get my poles out and go Nordic Walking, even though I look a little strange.
