THE CLIENT:

PLANarama is a London-based visual merchandising company. They design, produce and install window displays, in-store displays and exhibition stands.

THE BRIEF:

PLANarama needed to rewrite the content of their website. They wanted the content to be search-engine friendly and to reflect the young, quirky and creative nature of the company. They also wanted to have a blog as a source of news and knowledge.

MY ROLE: Web Content Writer and Blog Editor, May 2007 - May 2009

THE STRATEGY:

Web Content: My aim was to capture the fun atmosphere and quirky creative approach of Planarama by making the content light-hearted and witty. At the same time it was important to make it clear that the team work to very specific briefs and tight deadlines and deliver the goods no matter what.

PLANarama Blog: My role was to bring out the stories behind PLANarama’s window displays, drawing out from their creators the inspiration and challenges that went into the making of the windows. I wanted to highlight the creative process as well as the project management and quick turnaround of each project.
